Pumpkin Walk

There is a pumpkin walk in Cache Valley that we'd never been to before. Aunt Ann and Aunt Carma said it was great so we decided to give it a try. They had some amazing pumpkin displays and some great picture taking opportunities. Unfortunately we didn't get great pictures.

After we went to the pumpkin walk we drove down to Spanish Fork so we could go to a Jazz game! On the way down Alexis started yelling that Jocelyn had opened a packet of hot cocoa and was eating it plain. When I turned around Alexis was "helping" her clean it up!

Madison's Mad Camera Skills

I think Alexis took these first two pictures and then Madison somehow got a hold of the camera.

How do we know that it was Madison taking pictures of the table? That dress fits only Ms. Maddie. All table pictures were upside down. I rotated them so that you would know what you were looking at. How you get a camera phone to take a picture upside down is only known by Madison!

Happy 7th Birthday to Drew

A neighbor grew this gigantic pumpkin and the kids couldn't resist getting their picture taken with it. Too bad they didn't have the weight posted next to it!

Drew got to open his birthday gift before his party and he was so excited! He got his very own microscope!

Drew wanted a Halloween themed party and we had fun obliging! The skull form made perfect jello and chocolate skulls. We also had chocolate bats, fingers and a rat!

Pumpkin bowling. They bowled pumpkins into liters of soda pop. They had a lot of fun trying to knock all of them down at once. (We did not use those sodas for the drink afterwards!)

Drew is getting so big! He is still our animal/bug lover. Now that he has more energy he is also our boy. He is doing more active things but he's still cautious. He has no desire to ride a bike with only two wheels, "it's too dangerous!" He loves the Wii, still. He also loves to play games, Monopoly and War being his favorites. He likes going to kindergarten even though it's "too easy".
At his check-up he was
39.4 lbs = 13%
44.75 in = 37%
and he had a BMI of 13.8
he's not like our little Jordan who is referred to as Chunky Monkey!
Jordan had his check-up the same time that Drew did and he was
18.69 lbs = 68%
28.5 in = 96%
head 16.9 in = 26%
Even though we refer to Jordan as our Chunky Monkey, he's still underweight for his height!

Madison is most certainly one of our dramatic ones. She has such great faces to go along with her moods!

Self Portraits

Here's a small sampling of the 50+ pictures Drew took of himself. Amazing what you get when you have a phone with a camera and you're nowhere near.

Logan River Fun

Gpa Rod is always good for a fun face when the kids are behind the camera.

Madison is trying not to step on any cracks while she's walking on the wooden bridge. Needless to say, she did not get to walk the entire length of the bridge not stepping on any cracks, there were too many and John was a little cold!

I would never leave my little lady in her pj's all day. What kind of parent does that? ;-)

John thought it would be great fun to go for a swim in the FREEZING COLD Logan River. Luckily he's a big boy and we don't have to listen to whining the entire way home when he pulls a stunt like this! The kids thought it was great but they weren't silly enough to follow after him. While on this walk I kept complaining to John that my shirt was really bugging my skin every time I moved. I had no clue the fun that I was in for!
