End of March

Jocelyn loves to eat chocolate. I found her under the table enjoying a little fix.

I took this picture and the kids said: "Aww, we're so cute! You should post it to Facebook for your friends."

Jordan's Creativity

While doing the girls' hair Jordan kept asking for a pony, so I put one in. He did NOT like it, at all. He kept whining and trying to get it out of his hair. I had to get a picture since I doubt he'll ever let me do that again!

If you don't keep your eye on Jordan at ALL times he will make a mess, or destroy something. We grind rice to make rice flour for gluten free flour making. Jordan loves to watch when we grind the rice. This particular morning he pulled out the grinder and the rice and was trying to get it to work. While he didn't necessarily put the rice in the right areas, he was trying, valiantly.

School Time Fun

I was in charge of decorating Drew's teachers door for Teacher Appreciation Week. And I forgot about it until the last minute. But, I think it turned out fairly nicely - the kids though it was great fun.

For Madison's Beary Special Me day she got to bring in a treat of her choosing. She decided that fruit kabobs would be the best! Because you can't really make fruit kabobs early we had to get them done day of before school. Alexis, Drew and Madison helped. Alexis washed and peeled. Drew cut and separated and Madison stuck them. They were all such good helpers and we got them done with plenty of time to spare!

St. Patricks Day

The kids were so excited that the leprechauns came and let them goodies. Mom and Dad thought that they should've left better stuff than they did since the kids ate it for breakfast!

Car Energy

Sometime my 'new' car doesn't want to turn over very nicely. John said the spark plugs might need to be replaced. Based on the old vs new picture I'd say they did! (And it hasn't had issues anymore either!)

Jordan LOVES to eat cream cheese - plain. Nauseating, I know. Whenever he can sneak into it he does. He also loves butter - plain, and lotion. He's such a funny little man.

Learning to Ride Bikes

Drew was so incredibly mad at Jocelyn because she went between them and wasn't being safe.
It took some doing, but we got Drew riding his bike. He kept saying it was safer to ride with four wheels instead of two. Every time he'd fall he'd scream that he almost cracked his head open, especially if it was near any rocks - big or small. And the open ditch that is maybe a foot deep and completely surrounded by tall grass was a death trap waiting to eat him. But, he did it and he's so proud he did something hard. We had to get him a bigger bike because his was just too small for him. He was ticked that we didn't get him another little bike and kicked and screamed the entire time John was trying to get him to be able to ride this one. He didn't like the hand brakes, he didn't like the big tires, he didn't like that it was heavier than the last one. And he especially doesn't like to bike when anything is sharing the sidewalk with him. Hence the reason we went to the church parking lot. However, if the other kids got anywhere near him he'd freak out!
Jocelyn on the other hand was having a blast. She got Drew's old bike and she is LOVING it. She jumped right on and off she went. She loves to go fast and to ride up and down and up and down. Jocelyn LOVES the show Peppa Pig. So much so that she's actually developing an English accent when asking a question. When she learned how to ride a bike with training wheels she said: "this is brilliant!" Maybe it's time to introduce an American cartoon.

Alexis liked tormenting Drew by riding close to him.

March

Jordan loves my phone. LOVES it. He knows how to start his games, take pictures, look at pictures, try and download misc junk and play videos. This is one of the gems that I found from his playing.

Someones horses broke out and went for a walk down Main St. Just to the right of the cars is a big open field. Once they made it to the field, they started sprinting. The poor lady trying to corral them was not going to win!

Jordan's newest thing? Taking his diaper off. He's so ready to be potty trained but he refuses to go in the toilet!
