Rain Rain we want to play

Sitting in front of the apartment waiting for the Millville Days parade to start.

It was freezing cold, it felt like March instead of June! We ended up sitting in the back of the Pathfinder to keep warm.

They threw a lot of candy and the kids loved running to pick it up. It took about three days to eat all the candy that they received.

Alexis came up with the idea to take the pillow cases off of the pillows and go bunny hopping through the house.

Alexis found a dead bird in the grass and decided that picking it up and carrying it across the yard was the best idea. She was being so kind though, she made sure Drew and Madison each had a turn to touch it! Then she came to get the sanitizer so they wouldn't be nasty. It still makes me shiver thinking about it, yuck!

The kids decided that running in the rain would be great fun. It was freezing cold, again, but they still played for about fifteen minutes before they were too cold to go on.

It reminded me of playing in the rain in Hawaii. We would throw our swimsuits on and go play in the gutter (nasty I know). It was so warm and we could play as long as it was raining, it was so much fun!

Daddy playing with his "grown up" toys while the kids ran in the rain. He is cutting boards for a "fun", as he was describe it, project that I came up with. He secretly enjoys being able to play with his toys no matter what he says! I'm excited to finish these projects and be able to post them, sometime at the beginning of next year.
