Drew wanted a dinosaur cake for his birthday. When we asked him what color of dinosaur he wanted he said he wanted the same color as the type of dinosaur they have at the zoo! So we ended up doing a dino land instead of an actual dinosaur, thanks to an idea from Michelle.
Drew and his cousin Cameron have birthdays two days apart. We have done a joint family party for them the last two years. The only difficult part is making sure that the cake is acceptable to both age groups.
Drew decided to blow out both candles before we could even sing Happy Birthday to them.
Drew is such a fun little boy. He is certainly turning into a boy. He hits, kicks, bites, pinches and any other form of physical abuse you can think of to get what he wants. He also can be so sweet and kind and helpful. He speaks with such enunciation that it's just too cute. He loves to help and to make sure that you know that you are beautiful. He also loves his pirates, dinosaurs, trains, stuffed animals and play-doh.
He has been doing so much better with his health as well. Tuesday night was the first time in about a year and a half that he's had any breathing problems. The poor little guys chest was caving in each time he took a breath. Luckily it didn't last too long and he was able to sleep without any more problems.
He is such a cute little guy, I don't know what we'd do without him!
