Tony's Grove

Sitting at Denny's parents' house waiting for everyone to be ready to go.
Yes Madison's sunglasses were upside down and she prefers them that way.

Monday, Labor Day, we went up to Tony's Grove with Carrie & Denny's and Matt and Angie's families. The guys were fishing and canoeing and the kids were joining in. For the most part the moms watched the kids and kept things under control.

Eating our lunch. It was FREEZING cold. We all ended up wearing our winter jackets.

John throwing in his line and bringing it back. I would say fishing but we don't ever catch anything so can it really be called fishing?

Ethan

There is a chipmunk in this picture. He let me get within just a couple feet of him before he ran off. They are much cuter from a distance! The closer I got the more he reminded me of a rat with a really thick tail, yuck.

Spider Drew. He was so proud that he could climb up this wall all by himself. It was at a slight incline but it was still pretty steep.

This dog entertained the kids for nearly half an hour. They would take turns throwing his ball and then they would chase after him as he ran after the ball. I was beginning to wonder if we took the dog out of the equation and just threw the ball if the kids would all still run.

The girls loved climbing up and sliding down as well until Miriam tripped and got hurt.
